3 Bedroom House in Ventnor

This is a charming beach house with lots of character, perfect for a great getaway at Phillip Island. Comfort and no fuss - exactly what beach holidays are all about!
With 4 separate sleeping areas and two living areas, the house can comfortably accommodate a large family or several couples.
Bedding configuration:
2x Queen bedrooms
1x Double bedroom
1x King Single sofa bed (in its own separate room)
The open plan living areas work well when you have a few people staying - the kitchen, dining and living areas are together at the front of the house overlooking the deck and there's another separate TV room.
The room with the King Single sofa bed also has a TV, as does one of the Queen bedrooms.
The kitchen is very well-equipped - new SMEG electric stove, microwave and new Bosch dishwasher - and there's plenty of (matching!) china, cutlery and glassware for everyone. There are 2 fridges in the kitchen.
There's a lovely bathroom inside with a shower and toilet which was recently renovated, and an older laundry and second toilet and shower outside, especially useful after a day at the beach.
The reverse-cycle air conditioner in the lounge heats or cools the house and there's a portable electric heater as well. All bedrooms have white block-out blinds.
Ventnor is about 5kms from Cowes which has lots of shops and restaurants - close-by for easy access, yet far away enough to enjoy some peace and tranquility even during the busiest holiday periods.
The house is surrounded by a pretty garden which is partially fenced. There's a garage at the back of the property. You'll enjoy the view of the front garden and deck from the sunny living room. The large deck with table and chairs is a great spot to serve drinks and dinner around the BBQ.
It's a 5-minute wander to the lovely Ventnor bay beach, the only dog-friendly beach on the Island which is off-leash at all times during the day or night, any time of year.
If you're attending major events such as the MotoGP or V8 Supercars, the stop for the shuttle bus that will take you to the event is on the corner of the street, less than 50 metres away. Linen is included for the MotoGP weekend.

Summary: What a wonderful week our family (with two small doggies) spent at Island Time! It’s such a lovely house, well appointed and with a fabulous seaside vibe. Great bedrooms and living areas beautifully decorated. The location is excellent - in a quiet street just a short walk from the beach. We walked down morning and night and enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the nearby reserve (wallabies everywhere, blue tongue lizards, echidnas and birds of all types). Lisa and Bill are wonderful hosts and provide excellent communication. It was an A+++ experience.

Summary: This house is wonderful and had everything we needed. Communication with the property owner was excellent. It is a perfect place for kids and adults. The beach is calm and the streets are safe for bike riding. The house is really well cared for and so relaxing. We love it and will go back soon.

Summary: Lovingly decorated with retro vibes, this holiday home is comfortable and charming. It allows an affordable option for families wanting needing a beach get away. Lovely outdoor eating area. Only a few minutes walk to rockpools and beach and quick drive to town. The owner Lisa is extremely accommodating and helpful. We are already planning our next visit.
